About Me

- 30 years as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
- 12 years Marriage counselor at Rutgers University. While there- designed and gave The Self In Relationships Workshop to over 7,000 students- 300 students for 28 hours over one weekend, every semester.

It is my opinion that our society does not properly prepare us for the most important part of our lives: successful partner, spouse, and parenting relationships. This Blog is an attempt to remedy that.

There are many misconceptions about intimate relationships, what they are, how they work, and what the real potential is. This is made worse by representations of relationships in films, TV, and other media.
